MacStrategy invites you to advertise your Apple / Mac / IT products or services on our web site. If you are interested in advertising please contact us.
We currently offer advertising at two spots on the site - both these spots appear on almost every page of the web site:
- Ad Bar 1 (banner style advertising, max 728 pixels wide / 90 pixels high) appears at the top of every MacStrategy web page including articles and blog posts.
- Ad Bar 2 (box style advertising, max 170 pixels wide / 1000 pixels high) appears at the bottom of the right hand column of every MacStrategy web page including articles and blog posts.

MacStrategy Advertising Rates
Ad Bar 1
Options available:- Normal random rotation across the entire MacStrategy site (except, specifically, for any pages where other advertisers are paying for sponsorship of that page) = £30
- Sponsorship of one specific MacStrategy "article" (your advert is the only advert displayed in the Ad Bar 1 position for that article) = £75 per article
- Sponsorship of the MacStrategy home page (your advert is the only advert displayed in the Ad Bar 1 position on the MacStrategy home page) = £100
- Sponsorship of any other single page e.g. the Articles page (your advert is the only advert displayed in the Ad Bar 1 position for that page) = £50
Ad Bar 2
Options available:- Normal random rotation across the entire MacStrategy site (except, specifically, for any pages where other advertisers are paying for sponsorship of that page) = £25
- Sponsorship of one specific MacStrategy "article" (your advert is the only advert displayed in the Ad Bar 1 position for that article) = £50 per article
- Sponsorship of the MacStrategy home page (your advert is the only advert displayed in the Ad Bar 1 position on the MacStrategy home page) = £75
- Sponsorship of any other single page e.g. the Articles page (your advert is the only advert displayed in the Ad Bar 1 position for that page) = £30
Advertising Notes
- All prices are per calendar month.
- All prices exclude UK VAT at 20%. VAT is not chargeable only if you are a registered business outside of the EU or you have a verifiable EU VAT number.
- Discounts are available if you sponsor both Ad Bar 1 and 2 positions on the same article, site page, home page and/or if you pay for more than 12 months of advertising.
- Advertising costs are payable upfront, in total or you have the option of monthly payments for adverts running for at least 6 months.
- Payment is via bank transfer in UK Pounds Sterling with all fees payable at your end or you can pay in UK Pounds, Euros, US Dollars or Czech Crowns/Koruna via PayPal (UK direct debit or PayPal monthly subscriptions are available for those adverts running for 6 months or more).
- For sponsored pages/articles it may be possible to insert additional banner type adverts (free of charge) into the article e.g. a VPN service banner can easily be inserted into the article directly under the heading at https://macstrategy.com/article.php?86#vpn
- For random rotation, adverts are placed into a database and one live advert is randomly picked each time the advert code is processed/a page is viewed (unless that page is specifically sponsored by another advertiser).
- Adverts can be automatically timed to start and finish on any given date.
- Adverts should be in standard HTML (5) code and the graphics must be no larger than the given maximum dimensions above - Adobe Flash based adverts are not accepted.
